From a young age I was incredibly interested in eating healthy and exercising, some might say it is because my dad was and still is a huge Stallone fan. Growing up in the Central Valley of California I was introduced to a variety of outdoor recreation opportunities including sports, hunting, fishing, and hiking. I decided to turn my passion for exercise and health into a 10-year journey through higher education where I earned an A.S. in Biology from Clovis Community College, a B.S. in Kinesiology-Exercise Science from Fresno State, an M.A. in Kinesiology-Exercise Science from Fresno State, and a PhD in Kinesiology from Oregon State University. In my time studying Kinesiology, which in my own words, is the study of how exercise impacts the body, I have taken a multitude of biology, chemistry, physiology, and exercise physiology classes. It is my passion to help people understand complex topics and apply them towards longevity in their own health and careers. As a husband and father, I was thrilled to find SquatchJuice, where quality is not compromised and customers are treated like family. I am excited to have the opportunity to explore with you all as we dive into the biology and physiology of hydration!
